Business-quality multipoint video is going to cost you some money. It really
depends on how much you think it is worth.

Another option (to buying your own server) might be a service provider which
bills based on usage. Your initial costs will be zero but you'll
pay-as-you-go.

Subject: [NetMeeting] Software Bridging Solutions Question

Now that I know I can't access video with more than one other person, I am
investigating a bridging solution that will allow my organization to use the
videoconferencing component in a multiple attendee mode.

I have been to the White Pine web site and have read about their CU-See-Me
software products at well as their Meeting Point servers. Is my only
solution
here the purchase of a $15,000 server to allow me to offer multiple video
conference capability to my Net Meeting software? Can I instead piggy-back
the
CU-See-Me Pro or a bundled version available on a web cam purchase to our
Net
Meeting to augment the multiple video capability?

My organization does not view the videoconferencing component frivolous,
rather
an enhancement to our current suite of available communication tools. We
have a
nationally distributed workforce who would like to be able to see each other
when they meet remotely. Isn't that the point, anyway? I understand that
the
data sharing is the meat and potatoes of remote collaboration, but being
able to
see each other in the virtual meeting is a component that is looked upon
here as
a very nice one.

Any thoughts or guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
