Ok this too is what I wanted to do also but was never able to get NM to work
on my LAN without having my LAN connected to the Internet.
But if you get a NAT Bridging software such as Sygate it enables you to use
1 computers (The Server) Internet connection to share Internet between all
client computers on your LAN then once connected to the Net you can just
call the assigned IP of the client or server computer that you wish to
connect too.
If anyone does ever figure out a way of using NM on a LAN without being
connected to the Internet please let us know how you did it.
