I removed NM 2.11 and reloaded NM 3.01 (the new french version - release
4.4.3385 , the last NM 3.01 version tested - ports not open - was the
english version, same release number). On my new test with eCollaboration,
the result did'nt mention that ports are not open, but the following
statement appeared :

Your IP address was not reachable. (195.132.0.227)
To host a NetMeeting your PC's IP address must be a valid,
reachable, Internet Address. Since your IP address is not
reachable you cannot, through this machine, host a meeting. Your company nay
be using NAT (Network Address Translation) on it's
routers. If this system is being used on your routers to interconnect their
Internal LAN with the External Internet then your machine cannot
host NetMeetings. The same is true for LAN's that are not using TCP/IP for
their network protocol. However, you can join a meeting as a Guest.
Ask your Network Administator for more details about your company's
Internet Access method.

What do you think? I will now try to connect with someone on the ils list,
hoping that it will work.
Thanks : Max Gay
