Mystery : NM3.01 was downloaded from the official Microsoft site (and not
from the resource kit). I checked about secure calls : no restrictions set
up. When I call somebody and there is an answer, immediately the error
message appears, NM closes and the video is disconnected. I tried also
different levels of bandwiths. When somebody calls me (video disconnected) :
I see his name on the little box, I do'nt hear him, he does'nt hear me, the
chat box is available and both confirm that no sound is incoming. I do'nt
have these problems with NM2.11. I work with a very stable Windows 95
version and it is the first time in years that I encountered a problem with
a software. I have also other (audio) communication software available
(WebPhone, Really Easy Voice) and they work perfectly. Really Easy Voice is
the best for audio quality, well in advance of NM audio.
Thank you : Max Gay
