I confirm : many people told me that by saving a downloaded file and then install it (instead of letting install it by the download program, according to the advice given by Microsoft) solve a lot of problems. This too was noticed when downloading NM 3.01. I recommend the uninstallation of a former release of NM 3.01 before installing the new release.
