Tony,

I recently subcribed to (meetingbywire) because we are now listed as a
companion product on the netmeeting website. I can also suggest Sorenson
EnVison if it seems appropriate. I forwarded your message to MITCH HAYDEN,
our product manager,
the following is his response:

This is the "PCI is better than USB" debate. The USB product must compress
the data to get TO the computer. It is then compressed again in the
NetMeeting software. This is akin to looking through two windows in a row.
Both have to be clean. Compressing the second time (NM software) amplifies
the dirty-ness of the first compression.

Our USB product WILL NOT suffer this anomaly. The reason is that we'll
compress ONCE out in the BOX.

Subject: Re: [NetMeeting] (no subject)

We are currently running NetMeeting 3.0 on a Windows NT workstation (EN450)
using a Winnov Videum Capture card, the second workstation (Armada 1750)
is running Netmeeting 3.0 on Windows 95 using Kodak DVC325 camera, utilizing
USB. The video from the WindowsNT workstation to the Windows 95 is more
crsip than the video from the Windows 95 workstation to the WindowsNT
workstation.. Any ideas?

Thank You

 Tony Donato
