Oh, Luca, I've been reading a lot of netsukuku documents and so on
recently. I've seen there was a C version of Netsukuku, But it was
abandoned. I'm still reading through the early mailing list archive, So
I haven't gotten to why yet, But I am very curious about that. Also, I
am curious about why you gave up python (Or reduced focus on it) and why
you decided to chose Vala to port netsukuku to.
I know C++ in a limited form, I am a novice, Though I am improving, And
I have two friends who both know C++ very very much better than me. I
don't know what one of their jobs is, But I know the other works with
programming in his job. So, We've been talking together, And, Since none
of us know Vala, It would be easier for us to work on the C version
rather than the Vala version.
Although, I very much want to know why the C version was abandoned, I
want to be able to help in what ever way is the most helpful. I don't
want to work on the C version, And spend all of the time porting it to
C++ and all of that with my friends. If it turns out to lack the
abilities, Or be inefficent in what netsukuku requires. However, I would
prefer to not have to learn Vala, Whilst I still haven't even finished
learning C++. I will do what ever helps the most, So, Please answer my
email.
Thank you again for reading and all of your work!
