I've seen there was a C version of Netsukuku, But it was abandoned.
I'm still reading through the early mailing list archive, So I haven't
gotten to why yet, But I am very curious about that.
It was abandoned because the development team at that time decided that
Python gave a more agile and flexible way to program the logics behind
Netsukuku. As of today I still think that was a bad idea, but that's
just my personal opinion because i like C the most :^)
Both Python and Vala implementations demonstrated to be able to run on
embedded devices, so most of my prejudices against those languages
aren't holding anymore.
ciao
p.s. if I may suggest, avoid putting private people's email directly in
CC: since this may annoy them. We all read this list when we have time.

Okay, That makes sense to me, And yeah, I prefer C, Specific C++ so far,
Though, My view may change later, I doubt it though. Hmm, Okay, I just
want to be completely certain, If we continue the C code, And port it to
C++ etc. Will we still be able to use it on routers? I know we will need
to specifically port it to Android phones, And other such phones, Being,
I don't think C++ runs there, But it might. Either way, It'd need to be
modified a lot for smart phones.
However, If netsukuku still can be made to work on routers with this
version we will work on, Then I see pretty much no reason to work on the
vala code. Unless Luca has a reason, Which he's not said yet. Also, If
running the code on routers requires specifically porting it to openwrt
in all instances, Then it really doesn't matter.
And yeah, I understand what you said about the private email, I just put
it in as in, It sends also to his email. I just wanted to be sure he got
it, Like, He might have notifications for his email, And have them
disabled for the mailing list, Or what ever. Also, I wouldn't have used
that email if I didn't think it would be okay, I just want to make sure
you all know, That I won't put private stuff in here. I got that email
from this mailing list, All of his emails come from there, As it says on
every email from him.
So, I thought it'd be okay, But yeah, Thank you.
