In reverse order:
- First paragraph's phrase "The first two problems" - That's a typo, a
hold over from an early draft of the document. Thanks. I'll clean that up.
- Use of "packet filtering" - I'll review the document. It's entirely
possible I made some mistakes with my terminology. As I was working on
the document, I spent most of time trying to solve the problem of
filtering (i.e. picking out the packets we're interested in), and
probably got into the bad habit of referring to everything involving
packets as packet filtering, even when it wasn't.
I'll send out mail when I post a new copy of the document.
