An alternative option is to use iSCSI. Currently QLogic ships iSCSI HBA that
allows for disk list booting on Solaris. Also Sun is working on extending the
Solaris iSCSI initiator to support booting with a standard NICs via iSCSI. Sun
demo'd that iSCSI software boot support at Storage Networking World last month
and will be posting the ARC documentation toward the end of month for review.
