I'm trying to get jumbo frames working on my dual port e1000g PCI-E adapter under snv_56. From what I can gather by searching this should be possible, but I just can't get it to work.

You should modify the MaxFrameSize value in /kernel/drv/e1000g.conf.
You may have to do an update_drv if you do not want to reboot.

I have already set this and then rebooted:

MaxFrameSize=3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3,3;

but I still get:

bash-3.00# ifconfig e1000g0 mtu 9000
ifconfig: setifmtu: SIOCSLIFMTU: e1000g0: Invalid argument

Is there anything else I need to change?
