I'm trying to get jumbo frames working on my dual port e1000g PCI-E adapter under snv_56. From what I can gather by searching this should be possible, but I just can't get it to work.

You should modify the MaxFrameSize value in /kernel/drv/e1000g.conf.
You may have to do an update_drv if you do not want to reboot.

Shouldn't there be an accept-jumbo setting in the ndd output? Am I missing something?

this is not settable via ndd.

Ooops. This did work. Thanks, Sowmini.

On another note, does anyone know if the nge driver supports jumbo frames in nv56? If so, where do I find info on setting jumbo on nge?

bash-3.00# modinfo | grep nge
131 fffffffff5b8c000 11660 83 1 nge (nVidia 1Gb Ethernet 1.11)

Thanks again,
