I think I could duplicate the problem in nv48. My solution was to
 make both of /etc/dhcp.bfe0 /etc/hostname.bfe empty.

The both files above, must exist. When I removed hostname.bfe0, 
the system failed to configure ipv4 address from DHCP server at boot time.

If it doesn't work for you, please try sys-unconfig command.
