Hi, i would like to configure my bnx0 ethernetinterface using jumboframes (MTU 9000). For this, i downloaded the driver from http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxtremeii.php (v4.0.4) and try to change /kernel/dev/bnx.conf:mtu=9000,9000,9000,9000 but no change happend after reboot (ifconfig -a shows the MTU 1500 and setting it manually ends with this error: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~# ifconfig bnx1 192.168.162.70 mtu 9000 ifconfig: setifmtu: SIOCSLIFMTU: bnx1: Invalid argument
Did somebody could help me to track down this problem ? regards Danny dmsg: Apr 15 23:06:48 storage08 mac: [ID 469746 kern.info] NOTICE: bnx0 registered Apr 15 23:06:48 storage08 pcie_pci: [ID 586369 kern.info] PCIE-device: pci103c,[EMAIL PROTECTED], bnx0 Apr 15 23:06:48 storage08 genunix: [ID 936769 kern.info] bnx0 is /[EMAIL PROTECTED],0/pci8086,[EMAIL PROTECTED]/pci1166,[EMAIL PROTECTED]/pci103c,[EMAIL PROTECTED] Apr 15 23:06:48 storage08 bnx: [ID 995108 kern.info] NOTICE: bnx0: BCM5708 device with F/W Ver1090006 is initialized.
