Do other OSes dynamically set IFF_POINTOPOINT based on what I type to
ifconfig?
All the ones I know of set it based on the interface type (with a PPP
interface setting IFF_POINTOPOINT as part of attaching itself to the
rest of the kernel, and an Ethernet interface setting IFF_BROADCAST).
