Sure you can pump the IO size to 1M or 2M and get the max throughput,
but in real life nobody uses those sizes. Best to test with realistic
io sizes (4k, 8k, 16k, 64k), so you know how your application will
perform.
I change the 8k IO to 512k/1M/2M, the total write throughput is
still only 90Mb/s .
It appears then that there is some serious latency in the setup.
Try iperf between the two and see where it lies.
