Thanks for the replies. I have not built my backup server yet, so, no, I have not tried it.
Good to know it may work. From my reading I understood that OpenSolaris did not leave the card in the required state when it shutdown. I do not want to leave the server in S3, I want it off and to WOL from powered down status. Have youseen this work with OpenSolais?
