Seem to be eluding to recent problems with the intel gigabit driver. I'm quite
willing donate cycles to investigate, but I'm not sure how this is best
coordinated. Is there an actual ticket open on this?

Looking at the putback log does not show any network changes that may
cause this regression. However the iommu was turned off and that may
have an impact.
