When 2.6.24 comes out, it'll almost certainly get pushed to F8. Fedora usually tracks the kernel pretty aggressively, even with released Fedora versions. For example, Fedora 7 started with 2.6.21, and is currently at 2.6.22.9 in the latest available update. 2.6.23.1 is in F7-updates-testing, which eventually gets promoted to -updates (ie, F7-stable).
