Both the device and the profile must be willing to autoconnect for

Also, how can I check the status of a device autoconnect flag (as set
by
nmcli device set <device> autoconnect) ?

hi

that would be:

   nmcli -f GENERAL.AUTOCONNECT device show "$DEVICE"

Indeed. How is it that I don't see that property with a simple single nmcli device show <device> ?

Thanks
