Bernard....ok, I tried. Here's what happened.
1. Uninstalled RH sndconfig-0.33-1 and installed MDK sndconfig-0.33-2mdk.
2. Ran sndconfig - it worked.
3. Uninstalled RH sox-2.15-5 and installed MDK sox-2.15-6mdk.
4. Ran sndconfig - it bombed.
5. Uninstalled MDK sox-2.15-6mdk and installed MDK sox-2.15-7mdk.
6. Ran sndcondig - it bombed.
7. Uninstalled MDK sox-2.15-7mdk and installed RH sox-2.15-5.
8. Ran sndconfig - it bombed.
9. Uninstalled MDK sndconfig-0.33-2mdk and installed RH sndconfig-0.33-1.
10. Ran sndconfig - it worked.
11. Breathed a sigh of relief!! <big grin>
