I STILL have a problem with my sound also, I have a SB16 pnp that was giving
me the same problem, I asked L-M people and they told me to...
sndconfig --noprobe --noautoconfig. This worked with the parsing
problem, but when I entered my info in manually, It still wouldn't work!
the @#$#@ computer then told me that it was busy. I tried all the available
parameters but no go.... If you get yours to work let me know.... Gray
