A hundred meters is a lot of cable (325 ft), you should not be any problem running
this in a house. (if you do I'd like to talk to you about moving in - it seems you way
more house than you can use <G>. Besides if you put a hub up in the attic then you
couldn't look at those pretty blinking lights 8-).

Subject: Re: [newbie] Ethernet Question (was 10/100 Ethernet)
I am setting up another network, and i am going to have to go way up in the
attic and back down thru the floor. This means that i am going to use A LOT
of wire, and thus i am concerned about poor performance. Can i buy something
that will amplify the signal, or should i put another hub in the attic?
