That was the ticket, thanks. Works great now. Well, as good as this
version of Netscape is anyway. However, neither of you told me I had
to set the permissions, I figured that out all on my own (see, I can
be taught :-).
Also, since Mandrake is RedHat with less bugs (it seems) I decided to
install Caldera 2.2 in the Red Hat spot. So now I have
Win98/C2.2/M6.0.

I had to add in /etc/resolv.conf
nameserver xxx.xx.xx.xx,xxx.xx.xx.xx
the xx's are the DNS addresses provided by my ISP.
If you don't have a resolv.conf file, you will need to make one.
