Browsing Windows networks with konqueror is not going to work unless LISa is
configured and running. To configure LISa open KDE Control Centre as ,
select Network>LanBrowsing and then go through the setup wizard.
The LISa configuration will be saved as /etc/lisarc

Now you must configure LISa to start on boot. To do this edit /etc/rc.local
and at the end put the command

lisa -c /etc/lisarc

LISA will now run at boot and you will be able to browse using konqueror.

However.... Personally I do not use it, because I find Windows networks easier
to browse using komba2. To use Komba2 just install the komba2 rpm and start
it from
Kmenu>Networking>Other

You should be able to immediately browse windows networks. To mount a share
just right click on it, enter the password, right click again and mount. It
will mount be default under ~/komba/hostname
