hello, tried to install some new nvid drivers for man 8.2, went to nvidia, matched the kernel and glx (3XXX) versions. the kernel installed fine, but the glx didn't want to. used the '-e' option outlined in the nvid read me and it installed but now X won't start at boot up! since i'm no expert on the console, i'm in trouble deep. any way to get myself out of this mess that isn't too complicated? any help would be appreciated. thanks
