This might be a daft comment, but...
Mozilla/Galeon don't like to be pointed at a web address when the PC is not
connected. Is the home page of your browser set to blank (or a page on your
HD)? If not, you will always get error messages at startup.

BTW I also use Mozilla 1.0 with LM8.2, no problems to report. I used RPMs, I
*think* they were from Cooker.




I generally never have a "home page" just blank, then I surf
from there.
