I have been using a usb gizmo under windows to capture stills from an analogue video camera. There's no chance, I think, of getting a Linux driver for this, so I wonder what next. There's the possibility of graphic cards with svid input - but I don't want to have to grovel behind my desk.
Is there any hardware available that would allow me to have a front panel or desktop connection? If not, can anyone recommend a suitable video card? Anne
