Hmm.. I'm not sure what you mean, Bill. However, when an application freezes in KDE I usually just press : <Ctrl><Alt><Esc> , then point the cursor (now a skull) to the frozen application and left-click to kill it. Then launch it anew. That's all. HTH Kaj Haulrich
