This question comes up every few weeks. Mandrake runs a security system called
msec (mandrake secure) which runs hourly and daily. It goes through a suite
of sercurity tests to make sure your machine has not been compromised, and
tightens up security holes. This is what you are seeing.

What it does depends on the security level you have selected. As from Mandrake
9.0 there is a panel in Mandrake Control Centre to enable you to
enable/disable individual tests, and to define which directories the tests
are performed on.
For more info read the page on msec on the Mandrake Secure site.
