I spoke to soon. I have most of my sound back. The good news is that I have SAMBA running the way that I think that it should after almost three weeks of screwing with it. Can read and write files to and from the Windows boxes now. Although I have an idea why what I did fixed it, I am not really sure why it worked..... I have my CDs playing and game sounds in the front speakers. I have all of the system noises working correctly. The problem is that the back speakers and the Sub-woofer doesn't work again. I have tried the AUMIX and SOUND CONTROL settings (which is what I thought fixed it the first time). Any ideas that I can follow after???? David -- -- ( )_( ) ( OO ) ----( )---- o
