WOOOOOO i made a mistake! wait wait wait. That line is not to be added to /root/.bashrc but to the bashrc of the user you normally log in as. Let's say your usual login is jason, then the alias line would go into /home/jason/.bashrc clumsy me. Sorry. Damian
