what brand/model is the cdrom drive?
when you first boot from the cdrom and you get to the screen that tells you to press
enter to install press F1. at the bottom it will have a boot: prompt
type
expert

this will give you the option of loading additional drivers before installing, which
your cdrom drive might need from a ext2 formatted floppy. If you could please provide
the info on the cd rom drive we may be able to better help you determine if this is
the case and, if so, what you need to do.
Thx,

Jerry
