In your menu you have an entry Configuration>Packaging>MandrakeUpdate That will give you a GUI based update system where you can choose which updates get applied. If you want to make it automatic putting these commands in a cron job will get all applicable updates for you automatically. urpmi.update -a urpmi --update --auto --auto-select If you have not run an update yet, be prepared for it to take some time.
