then why do they list them on the mandrake download page...? they shouldn't list ones that they don't check regularly... man thats aggravating...even with DSL ...it takes at least a good two hours to download each iso.

It might not be the mirror, but the download. And Mandrake does not check the mirrors (except it's primary) because they are public mirrors and anyone can mirror it because it is GPL software.
