Hi Joe, I have "gaim" up and working just fine with AOL,MSN and Yahoo messenger programs.
I was never able to follow your instructions using "urpmi" - I tried : urpmi.addmedia texstar ftp://ftp.bahcesehir.edu.tr/pub/texstar/mandrake/9.1/rpms with hdlist.cz many times and never got it to work. I then tried another suggestion by someone else and the file was available and was downloading for a couple of hours until I gave up - it never finished. Then I went to the texstar ftp site , downloaded the file in a couple of minutes and clicked on the file and it installed in another couple of minutes - all by itself - Question is why is this not the preferred method of installing new software - ? Am I missing something ?
