Instead of doing it in the /etc/fstab - why not create a script that you can call from the /etc/rc.d/rc.local - so that if the network is hosed up, it ain't going to muck up your system or drag down performance...? (Really easy to export a mountscript from LinNeighborhood - ya don't need to know anything at all - it does it for ya) Just FYI -- Wed Jul 23 23:35:01 EST 2003 23:35:01 up 9 days, 15:38, 2 users, load average: 0.18, 0.29, 0.26 ----------------------------------------------------------------- | __ __ |kuhn media australia | | /-oo /| |'-. |http://kma.0catch.com | | .\__/ || | | |================================| | _ / `._ \|_|_.-' |stephen kuhn | | | / \__.`=._) (_ | email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | ----------------------------------------------------------------- linux user #:267497 linux machine #:194239 * MDK 9.1+ & RH 9 Mandrake Linux Kernel 2.4.21-11mdk Cooker for i586 ----------------------------------------------------------------- * This message was composed on a 100% Microsoft free computer * "My life is a soap opera, but who has the rights?" -- MadameX
