Keith, My reply must not have been to clear sorry. The rpm you tried to use was for mdk 9.0 (NVIDIA_nforce-1.0-0248.mdk90up_2.4.19_16.athlon.rpm). You are on 9.1. You will need the 9.1 rpm. I am on 9.1 and have installed the 9.1 rpm (On my home PC, I am at work at the mo) if you use the link http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux_nforce_1.0-0261 and choose the 9.1 rpm everything should be fine. If you still have problems take a quick look at http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=14 this is the official Nvidia problem page so somebody else might have had the same problem.

Tony, Thanks very much for your reply. I decided to try 9.0 - it's working for you so it seemed worth a shot. I got the 9.0 LM and installed it, after reformatting all the Linux partitions. The installation program didn't install ethernet. After installing I ran the same rpm again. I got a message like "Sorry, these drivers are for a different architecture." I'm fairly confused now, although lately, for me, that is more or less a permanent condition anyway. Willing to try any further suggestions you or other readers may have. Thanks!
