Yes it will work

Install and configure the squids server (your best to configure it with 
drakwizard)

The tell your browser to use localhost 3128 as your proxy

that's what I'm saying .. there's just one computer ... will it work 
in this scenario ... and is it hard to use? I'd love a tool meant
