I tried the CTRL+ALT+backspace and it just clears the screen and shuts
the drive off. Unless I need to login then do it...too late on the
seventh time. hehe.. had to give myself something to try after some
reading with no production on the problem.
someone said somthing about linux 3 to force it into run level 3 at the
Lilo boot. so  I am going to try that and see what happens
