The standard that CD manufacturers use to define the readability of CD's
is completely a seperate issue from the standard that cdrom
manufacturers use to write disks. One is one and the other is the
other; to put it another way there is no relation between the burn speed
of a CD and the speed at which it is read. Whenever a CD is burned at
*whatever* speed it should still conform to the universal readability
standards that exist for CD's.
