Cripes! If we (being about 1/2 irish... me granma's a Leckie) all stayed in Ireland where would all the humour in the world be?! There are probably about 20x the number of O'Connors in the US (potato famines and those things...) as there are in Ireland, so I'd wager he's actually an American (well?). In fact there may even be more in Australia and Canada also.
