The only thing I'd add to Greg's comments, is that all of us from time to time hit a very busy period, and for a few days we do little more than scan the lists. If you get no reply for, say, 36 hours, try a slight re-wording of the subject line and send again. It may get picked up the second time by someone who simply didn't get to see it before.
