Did you inspect your /etc/lilo.conf file to see if a stanza was added for the new kernel? Did you do a lilo -v (you don't need the -v option, but I like to see what's going on as the config is processed) from a terminal as root after installing the new kernel, to write the new lilo to disk? If you didn't do the above, and a stanza was properly added to your lilo.conf file when you installed the kernel, that's why it didn't show up in your lilo list of installed kernels. Rick
