Hoyt, how did you install the package? Take a look at the QUICKSTART file in the package. Up close to the top it mentions this * Verify you are running a 2.4 kernel, 2.4.9 or later. If you are running a 2.5/2.6 kernel, the ONLY thing you need to do is 'make user' and 'make user_install'. Do NOT follow the rest of these instructions. I installed by rpm so I can't say if this has anything to do with it but it might be worth looking at. Mike
