No, I've searched the whole of my /home. I think the original template that I made has been saved in place of the supplied label template, wherever that is. It's not really a problem now, as I have re-created it and saved it correctly to my home directory, but I'm still curious as to where that original template might be. They're certainly not easy to find. I wonder if they are saved in some sort of compressed file.

From my reading your stuff on this forum I know you are better at this than I so maybe a simpler approach may be the answer?

# updatedb

# slocate *.stw

or maybe

# slocate *.stw | grep <the_name_or_part_of_you_recall>

At least I find this way for this old salt works.
