I'm certainly not the right person to answer this, but on the other hand I've been struggling with my USB devices since 10.1 and one thing I know for sure : you must have udev + udevd + magicdev running. Possibly hotplug and devfsd as well.



Not udev and devfsd together - I'm doing a lot of learning on this subject and will get back to you when I have it sorted ~ thanks to Mikkel for getting me started.


I've never come to grips with this.....U(seless) S(illy) B(ugger).
