I just upgraded
to version 7.0 (from 5.3) last night. Much to my dismay,
the sound still does not work (I was hoping that all I needed was a new
kernel). Upon running sndconfig, here is what I get:

The following error occurred running the isapnp program:
Don't know what to do with DMA 0 (CHANNEL 0)) on or
 around line 65
 /etc/isapnp.conf:65 -- Fatal - Error occurred parsing
config file --- no action taken

This message also occurs upon booting linux; it appears to be the same
message I got when I had 5.3 installed.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Idris
