Glad I'm not the only one who had this problem -

I did get it sorted, but this was more through luck than skill. and took a
couple of installs,sorry I cant help much more though.

one point I would like to make is that with hindsight I would have installed
few application into windows first, as when you do the auto allocate it
shrinks your win partition right down ,so if you install an app your not
going to use you can uninstall it afterwards to get some space back on you
win partition.




couple of questions

how can I get win98 to see my linux drives - is that a dumb question)
any one had any luck with getting a win modem to work I found some stuff on
linmodems.org but as I'm very new to this I haven't got ver y far.
