bascule....I believe that Linux uses 'when the partition was
created' to designate the numbers. Anyway, why don't we
consolidate these two threads "partition 'numbering' oddity" and
"scsi boot linear mode" into just "scsi boot linear mode" so as
not to get confused, since they are dealing with two parts of
the same problem? Ok?
